Whenever I tell someone I am a lawyer, the next question is always “What type of law do you practice?” The answer is that I have acquired a broad range of experience in a number of practice areas over the years, but the areas I tend to primarily focus on are:
Business and commercial transactions, including buying or selling a business, commercial loans, secured transactions, business organization, and contracts.
Commercial Real Estate, including buying or selling commercial real estate, shopping center leases, commercial leases, financing, development and construction.
Contracts, including review or drafting partnership/joint venture agreements, employment agreements, noncompete/nondisclosure agreements, leases, declarations of covenants, easements and restrictions, notes and security agreements, loan agreements, distribution agreements, and license agreements.
General Counsel. Many smaller companies do not have the resources to maintain a full time legal department. Having served as general counsel for a real estate development company for several years, I can serve in the role as outside general counsel to assist you with a variety of legal issues as they may arise.
Probate and Estate work, including wills, trusts, estates, and trust administration. I look forward to hearing from you and assisting you with your legal matter.
